This page explains what personal information we collect when you use our Service, how we use it, and the choices you have about it. We do not sell your personal information.

Overview

White Crow ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates this website, along with our related landing pages, forms, webinars, live trainings, strategy calls, client portals, reporting dashboards, marketing services, emails, text messages, and advertising (collectively, the "Service").

This page informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use the Service, and the choices you have about that information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We use the personal information we collect to provide, operate, support, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we will not use or share it except as described here.

Terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined here.

What We Are

White Crow is a digital marketing agency. We help law firms and local businesses get found online through search strategy, local and Google Maps SEO, AI search optimization, content, website design, conversion rate optimization, analytics, and reputation management. We also run free webinars and trainings about these topics.

Results disclaimer. You should not rely on any rankings, traffic, call, lead, or revenue figures we present as a promise or guarantee of results. Your results depend on factors we do not control, including your market, competition, reviews, website, budget, and changes to search engines and AI platforms.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

When you register for a webinar, submit a form, book a call, request a proposal, become a client, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, city or service area, practice area or industry, monthly marketing budget, the goals you describe, and any other information you choose to send us.

Client account and business information

If you become a client, we may receive access to and information from your website, Google Business Profile, analytics, advertising accounts, call tracking, CRM, and review platforms, along with logos, photos, text, and other materials you provide. We use this only to deliver the services you hired us for.

Billing information

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We receive confirmation of your transaction, the amount, and limited billing details such as your name, email address, and the last digits and card type. We do not collect or store your full payment card number or security code on our systems.

Recordings

Webinars, live trainings, and some calls may be recorded, including audio, video, chat, and screen shares. If you do not want to appear in a webinar recording, keep your camera and microphone off and do not submit questions on camera.

Log data

Whenever you visit the Service, we collect information your browser sends us. This may include your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, time spent on pages, and similar diagnostic and usage statistics.

Usage and engagement

Webinar registration, attendance and watch time, video views on our pages, form submissions, and email opens and clicks.

Advertising and analytics data

Information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tools about how you found us and how you interact with our ads and pages.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, analytics providers, webinar platforms, scheduling tools, payment processors, email and SMS providers, and referral partners.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Register you for webinars and trainings and send you access links and reminders
  • Respond to your questions, prepare proposals, and schedule strategy calls
  • Deliver marketing services to clients, including SEO, content, website, and reputation work
  • Prepare reports, track calls and forms, and measure campaign performance for clients
  • Process payments and provide invoices and account support
  • Send transactional messages about webinars, calls, your account, and active projects
  • Send marketing emails and messages about our services, content, and events, where permitted
  • Measure and improve our pages, content, funnels, and advertising
  • Build audiences and measure conversions on advertising platforms
  • Publish testimonials and case studies where you have given permission
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on your device that are commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. They are sent to your browser by the sites you visit and stored on your device. We and our partners also use pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies.

We use these technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Service is used, measure the performance of our content and advertising, and show you relevant ads.

You can accept or refuse cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you know when a cookie is being set. If you refuse or delete cookies, some parts of the Service may not work properly, such as forms and video. You can also opt out of many interest-based ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative, and through the ad settings of individual platforms.

Advertising and Measurement

We advertise on third-party platforms, which may include search, social media, and video platforms. To measure results and reach relevant audiences, we may:

  • Place advertising pixels and conversion tags on our pages and form confirmation pages
  • Share hashed identifiers such as an email address with an advertising platform to match you to an audience, build similar audiences, or exclude you from ads you should not see
  • Use aggregated reporting from those platforms to understand which ads and pages perform

These platforms process this data under their own privacy policies and may combine it with information they already hold about you. We do not consider this a sale of personal information, but some state privacy laws treat this kind of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising as something you may opt out of. See "Your Privacy Rights" below.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to:

  • Host the Service, our website, and our forms
  • Deliver webinars, scheduling, CRM, email, and text messaging
  • Perform Service-related functions such as payment processing, call tracking, reporting, customer support, and file storage
  • Help us deliver client work, such as writers, designers, and developers working under our direction
  • Assist us in analyzing how the Service is used and how our advertising performs

These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and they are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Other Ways We May Disclose Information

  • Third-party platforms you ask us to work in on your behalf, such as Google Business Profile, directories, and review sites, where publishing your business information is part of the service
  • The public, where you consent to a published testimonial or case study
  • Legal and safety, where we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients or the public
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you of any material change
  • Aggregated or de-identified data, such as anonymized ranking and performance figures, which we may share or publish because it does not identify you

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or share your contact information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing Emails and Text Messages

If you give us your email address or phone number and agree in our form, you consent to receive communications from us about webinars, trainings, our services, and promotions, as described in that form.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a webinar you registered for, a scheduled call, or an active client project.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and, for clients, for the length of the engagement, then for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.

Billing records are typically kept for the period required by tax and financial recordkeeping rules. When a client engagement ends, we remove our access to your accounts and platforms on request. Marketing opt-out records are kept indefinitely so that we can honor your choice.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it, including access controls, encryption in transit where available, and limiting internal access to those who need it. Please remember that no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are a client, keep at least one administrator login to your own accounts and notify us at [email protected] immediately if you believe any shared account has been accessed without authorization.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Request a portable copy of information you provided to us
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used with us and describe what you are asking for. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

Some requests have limits. We may decline or partially fulfill a request where we are required to retain information by law, where it is needed to complete an active client engagement or collect fees owed, where it relates to fraud prevention or the security of the Service, or where fulfilling it would infringe another person's rights.

California Residents

California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and may request deletion or correction, as described above.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with advertising platforms in a way that some laws classify as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out by emailing [email protected] or by using the cookie and ad platform controls described above. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of consumers under 16.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Users Outside the United States

The Service is operated in the United States and is hosted on servers in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer and processing.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar law applies to you, our legal bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you, to deliver the services you requested; your consent, for marketing and certain cookies; our legitimate interests, in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the Service; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business owners and professionals who are at least 18 years old, and it does not address anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our systems.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can take the necessary action.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to those signals, so we do not currently respond to them. You can still use the cookie, advertising, and email controls described in this policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we advise you to review this page periodically. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Changes are effective immediately once posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
